Children's Hospital of Illinois & T.O.U.C.H. Fund Raiser
Monroe School participated in the Brady Weaver benefit to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Illinois and T.O.U.C.H. (The Organization for Understanding Children’s Hearts). From April 23-May 2, 2007, students had themes to dress by for "Fun"d Days. For a fifty-cent contribution, students dressed for a Pajama Day, a Clash Day, a Patriot Day, a Wild and Wacky Wednesday, a Hawaiian Thursday, a Sport Logo Day, a Twin Day, and a Blast From the Past Day. Monroe raised $658.24 for the cause way to go Monroe! Pictures of some of the kids participating in the fund raiser can be found on the Spirit Week page. |
